Rep. Ann Bollin addresses the crowd at the 9-11 ceremony, with House Speaker Jason Wentworth.
Rep. Ann Bollin today honored deceased and active first responders and military personnel across Michigan in a special ceremony at the state Capitol.
The ceremony marks the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, honors first responders and military members currently active in our communities, and remembers those in Michigan who have died in the line of duty.
“The bravery and courage shown by those dedicated to protecting us – whether they are serving overseas or here at home – deserves our thanks and admiration,” said Bollin, of Brighton Township. “I am humbled to have this opportunity to publicly thank them for their service and sacrifice.”
