State Rep. David Martin has been officially sworn in, and his legislative office is now open and ready to serve residents of Genesee County.

Martin represents Michigan’s 48th District, which includes the communities of Clio, Davison, Montrose and Otisville, as well as the townships of Davison, Forest, Genesee, Montrose, Richfield, Thetford and Vienna.

“The people at home are my priority, and I will always have their backs,” said Martin, of Davison. “I encourage residents to contact me with their questions and concerns or to share any ideas they have that could help make life better for people in our community.”

Jonathan Mieczkowski, a Swartz Creek resident who has seven years of experience working in the Legislature, will serve as Martin’s legislative director. Phillip Eckert, a Genesee County native with constituent relations experience, will serve as his legislative aide.
