Rep. Steele takes oath at Capitol ceremony

State Rep. Donni Steele on Wednesday took the ceremonial oath of office as a state representative in the Michigan House. Clerk Gary Randall administered the oath in the state Capitol in Lansing on the House’s first day of session. Pictured here at an earlier date is Rep. Steele; her husband, Phil; mother, Marlene Taube; sister, Suzanne Taube; and son, Colton Steele.

Steele looks forward to helping address the concerns of local constituents while working to improve schools, promote safe communities and strengthen Michigan’s economy. 

Steele represents the new 54th House District, which includes portions of Auburn Hills, Bloomfield Hills, Bloomfield Township, Oakland Township, and all of Orion Township.
